SPOUSAL INTERNET SUPPORT
New York — A Web site offering relocating employees’ spousal support has been launched by Windham International. The site, www.ExpatSpouse.com, offers expats and spouses relocating globally with direct assistance and links to other relocated families around the world.

PUT THEM ON A DIET
Toronto — Runzheimer International has found many organizations establish no spending caps on meal expenses during business trips. A survey of 227 travel managers found that 92 per cent of organizations reimburse for meals based on actual expense. Thirty-two per cent of those reimbursing actual expenses establish no guidelines, yet meals represent the third largest category of spending in travel budgets.

AIRLINE MERGER SNARLS AIRPORTS
Toronto — Since Air Canada became the country’s dominant air carrier, travellers have suffered confusion and delays at Canada’s airports, especially acute at Toronto’s Pearson Airport. Flyers arrive at airports with tickets for cancelled flights. Others discover their flights are severely overbooked and that they have been bumped. At Pearson, many travellers arrive at one terminal in time, only to be informed they must depart from another one of the three terminals. At Ottawa airport, there have been reports of staff shortages. Air Canada said it hopes to have the glitches under control this month.
