The Ministry of Labour has launched a new work-life balance Web site.

It provides the means to share and compare information on various work-life issues such as innovative provisions in collective agreements and the benefits of work-related child-care centres. It also allows employers, unions, managers and HR practitioners to access the latest information and examples of best practices that enhance work-life balance for their employees.

“Families are an integral part of our society, said Claudette Bradshaw, Minister of Labour. “We need to support working families and invest in them. Implementing workplace measures to help balance work and personal time is an effective way to achieve this.”
