OPP, MNR workers face probe over e-mail

Sixty members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are being investigated for exchanging racist and pornographic images with employees from the Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR).

It is the result of a half-year-long investigation by the government, initially focusing on 189 employees at the MNR working in northeastern Ontario.

Six of those MNR employees – including a veteran MNR worker - have been fired, 52 suspended and 131 reprimanded.
