Pfizer, Manitoba Hydro among 20 firms recognized for family-friendly culture
Canada’s Top Family-Friendly Employers list commends parental leave top-ups, daycare assistance

Twenty employers across the country were recognized for their family-friendly initiatives as part of Canada’s Top Family-Friendly Employers list by Mediacorp Canada. These employers offer “the nation's most progressive and forward-thinking programs for employees with young children,” according to Mediacorp.
Each employer is evaluated by the editors of Canada’s Top 100 Employers on:
•maternity and parental leave top-ups
•the availability of flexible work arrangements
•assistance with daycare
•health benefit plans offering family coverage, and at what cost
•benefits for adoptive parents
•compassionate care leave
•industry-specific programs to support work-life balance.
