How young job seekers use the Web

Insight into the way students use the Web to look for work

One in four job seekers rejects potential employers based on their Web site, according to a new survey by WetFeet.com, an online recruitment technology company. The firm surveyed 750 students from 25 U.S. universities.

Ninety per cent of students visit corporate Web sites during their job search, according to the survey. About half say the quality of the company's site is important in their decision about where to work.
