Beijing raises minimum wage

he minimum wage rate for workers in the City of Beijing rose to $59.80 (U.S.) per month on Jan. 1, according to the Beijing Office of Labour and Social Security.

That represents an increase of $3.60 (U.S.) per month. The new minimum wage rate applies to all employees in the public and private sector.
