The Newfoundland and Labrador Supreme Court has overturned an order by the province’s labour board that ordered 25 workers to be re-instated at the Hibernia oil project.

The workers had been laid off since a union organizing drive began in 2000.

The Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union of Canada (CEP) said it is studying the decision to determine what course of action to take.
