As part of its offerings to the Canadian human resources and payroll communities, Carswell has for many years created and delivered payroll administration courses designed to arm participants with the technical and administrative tools they need to administer and manage the payroll function.
Effective September 1, 2004, Carswell and the Canadian Payroll Association will join forces to deliver the CPA's professional development seminars across Canada, enabling all participants to work toward a CPA-sponsored accreditation. As a result, the Carswell Payroll Administration Courses will no longer be offered.
The Carswell Payroll Consulting Group will now deliver the
CPA’s Professional Development Series (PDS) seminars
on behalf of the Association. The Payroll Consulting Group will continue its work providing research support for Carswell’s line of payroll information products and services and in supporting Carswell’s Payroll Hotline.
Carswell will continue to publish its full line of payroll-related products including the industry-leading Canadian Payroll Manual, Owner/Manager’s Payroll Manual (Alberta, BC, Ontario and Quebec), Carswell PayrollSource and The Canadian Payroll Manager newsletter.
Carswell will also continue the Payroll Hotline — a pioneer in providing telephone support to payroll practitioners — and the availability of customized payroll training solutions to meet specialized payroll needs.
