The federal government, through Service Canada, is upgrading the current 53-week ROE Web to include a new import feature.
The change will allow users to take Record of Employment serial numbers and other pertinent information from the ROE Web database and import the information they require, using an XML file, into their payroll system as a reference for ROEs they are issuing.
The new feature will be available this spring. Service Canada is a federal government body that brings together services from a number of departments in order to deliver them to Canadians from one source, similar to one-stop shopping.
