YINCHUAN CITY, CHINA — An airline employee was suspended recently after she was caught on video eating passenger meals, according to the Mirror.

The woman on Urumqi Air was filmed “taste testing” in-flight meals, leading viewers to question the woman’s behaviour, along with the airline’s hygiene standards.

Urumqi Air later said the row of meals shown in the video were leftovers that were not handed out to passengers, but the employee should have disposed of them, instead of eating them.

The airline apologized for the incident and said it was conducting a full investigation, and the employee had been suspended.
