Boeing, Manitoba Hydro, City of Vancouver among top diversity employers

Competition looks at diversity initiatives, 5 employee groups

Boeing Canada, Manitoba Hydro and the City of Vancouver are among Canada’s Best Diversity Employers for 2013, according to Mediacorp Canada.

Recognizing employers that have exceptional workplace diversity and inclusiveness programs, the competition examines a range of diversity initiatives, including programs for five major employee groups: women, members of visible minorities, persons with disabilities, Aboriginal Peoples and lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered/transsexual (LGBT) peoples.

The winners were selected from the employers that applied for the 2013 Canada's Top 100 Employers project.
