National knowledge exam dates changing
OTTAWA — The dates for the National Knowledge Exam (NKE) — a requirement in obtaining the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation — are moving from May and October to June and November. Starting in 2013, the exam will be offered on the first Saturday in June and the first Saturday in November.
Benefits plan cost increases slowing
TORONTO — Increases in health benefits plan costs are slowing, according to a survey by Buck Consultants. Insurers have lowered their expected inflation costs for health benefit premiums from 14.4 per cent in 2011 to 11.7 per cent in 2012; and for prescription drugs from 14.2 per cent to 12.1 per cent.
