Renewal agreement: Effective April 9, 2020 to April 8, 2023. Signed on April 9, 2021.
Shift premium: $1.50 per hour for training team in negotiation unit. $0.60 for each hour worked on the weekend night shift; $0.40 for each hour worked on night shifts Monday to Friday.
Paid holidays: 9 days.
Vacations with pay: 1 day per month of service, maximum 10 days or 4%, to start, 2 weeks or 4% after 1 year, 3 weeks or 6% after 3 years.
Overtime: 150% of hourly rate for all work performed in excess of daily (8, 10 or 13.33 hours) or weekly limit (40 hours); 200% for hours worked — guaranteed minimum 4 hours of pay — for employees who work on statutory holiday; 200% for all work completed on seventh day.
Meal allowance: $15 to defray cost of meal, payable within 3 days, for employee who works more than 4 hours after normal workday.
Medical benefits: Employer pays 50% of premiums, employee pays 50% of premiums.
Pension: Participation in trucking industry supplemental pension plan, (Régime complémentaire de retraite de l’Industrie du Camionnage de la Région de Montréal, Local 931 A.T.R.M), is mandatory for all employees. Employer, employee will contribute minimum 2% into plan.
Bereavement leave: 5 days for death in immediate family (spouse, child (whether by employee’s current spouse or not), father, mother, mother-in-law, father-in-law, brother or sister of employee). 3 days for death of family member (grandfather, grandmother, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, son-in-law or daughter-in-law of employee). 1 day for death of extended family member (uncles and aunts of employee or spouse).
Seniority – recall rights: 18 months off work due to lack of work or layoff.
Call-in pay: Minimum of 4 hours.
Probationary period: 6 months worked commencing on date of last hiring.
Discipline: Sunset clause is 12 consecutive months of employment for disciplinary notices.
Uniforms/clothing: Employer will provide 1 set of uniforms to each employee. Each 12 months, employer will replace part of uniform that requires it: 5 shirts (long or short sleeves); 3 pairs of pants; 1 coat; 1 tuque; 1 cap; 1 weapon holster; 1 charger case; 1 sweater. Employer will also supply belt which will be replaced when needed. All employees who work on road in armoured vehicle or service vehicle will receive 1 bulletproof vest which they will wear at all times when working (employer will reimburse in 3 payments of $400 to employees who were obliged to pay cost of bulletproof vest).

Editor’s notes: Personal leave: 5 days per year after 1 year of seniority (any unused days are paid out to employee at end of March of following year). Birth: 2 days of leave without loss of salary on day of birth or adoption of child or when mother is released from hospital. Marriage: 3 days of leave when they marry for any employee, who has completed probation with employer. Shooting practice: Employee will have 1 or more shooting practice sessions. Employee will be compensated at regular hourly rate, minimum guarantee of 4 hours of pay. Permits/licenses: Employer will pay for all licences required for work, including future increases to maintain class 3 driver’s licence, less cost of regular driver’s licence, if licence is required for performance of employee’s duties. Employer will pay medical costs incurred to maintain class 3 licence as well as all costs for photographs required for all permits required.
