Renewal agreement: Effective June 1, 2024, to October 31, 2028, with year-to-year renewal if not renegotiated.
Wage adjustments: Various base wages and benefits by classification, with increases on December 31, 2024, June 1, 2025, and annually.
Shift premium: $1.25 per hour for shifts starting after 6:00 pm or before 4:00 am.
Paid holidays: Twelve recognized holidays, including National Day for Truth & Reconciliation.
Vacations with pay: Vacation and general holiday pay combined at 10% of gross wages.
Overtime: Paid at time and one-half after eight hours per day or forty-four hours per week.
Meal allowance: $20 allowance if no meal is provided after 12 hours of work.
Medical Benefits: Contributions made to Laborers' Health & Welfare Trust Fund of Western Canada.
Pension: Contributions to the Laborers' Pension Fund of Western Canada.
Bereavement leave: Three days at $150 per day for death in the immediate family.
Seniority – recall rights: Recall for employees laid off due to lack of work; 24-hour notice for geographical reassignment.
Call-in pay: Minimum of two hours if requested to report but no work available; four hours if work commenced.
Probationary period: First 60 working days from hire date.
Discipline: Employer reserves the right to discharge for unsuitability during probation.
Safety shoes: $275 boot allowance after 600 hours, issued annually in May or December.
Uniforms/clothing: Protective clothing provided for tasks not requiring regular workwear.
Mileage: $0.65 per kilometer for authorized personal vehicle use.
