Renewal agreement: Effective Dec. 15, 2017, to Nov. 30, 2022. Signed on Feb. 21, 2018.
Shift premium: $0.70 per hour for second shift. $1 per hour for third shift. $1 per hour for fourth shift or swing shift. $1.25 per hour for employee assigned as relief supervisor. $1 per hour for employee assigned as lead-person. $0.50 per hour for operator 1 employees in mill-line of progression.
Paid holidays: 10 days, plus day before New Year’s Day and 2 personal holidays. 
Vacations with pay: 1 day per month worked, maximum 10 days or 4% to start, 2 weeks or 4% after 1 year, 3 weeks or 6% after 5 years, 4 weeks or 8% after 10 years, 5 weeks or 10% after 18 years, 6 weeks or 12% after 26 years. Employees hired after March 1, 1997, will not be eligible for a fifth or sixth week of vacation. 
Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week. Double time for all work on second scheduled day off, provided 40 hours have been worked that week. 
Pension: All employees on seniority list on Jan. 1, 2015, will be grandfathered in current pension plan. All new hires starting Jan. 1, 2015, will be in new pension plan. Employees may contribute 1% to 18% of before-tax earnings. Employer will contribute $1 for $1 on first 4% and $0.50 on dollar for the next 2% of employee contributions, maximum match of 5% for RRSP and stock-purchase plan. 
Bereavement leave: 5 days (previously 3 days) for death of spouse, son, daughter. 3 days for death in immediate family (daughter-in-law, son-in-law, stepchild, brother, sister, mother, father, stepmother, stepfather, mother-in-law, father-in-law, grandchildren, grandparent, stepbrother, stepsister). 1 day for death of brother-in-law, sister-in-law.
Seniority – recall rights: 18 months for employees hired before Jan. 1, 1999; 12 months for employees hired after Jan. 1, 1999
Call-in pay: Applicable hourly rate for unscheduled hours worked or 4 hours of pay at straight-time hourly rate, whichever is greater.
Probationary period: 120 days. 
Safety shoes: $175 per year (previously $450 for term of collective agreement) in years 1 to 3; $180 per year in years 4 to 5 of collective agreement. 
Uniforms/clothing: Employees with seniority will be provided with uniforms, laundry service.
Tool allowance: Maintenance employees — who are required to provide own tools — will have broken, lost, stolen, worn-out tools replaced by employer.
Sample rates of hourly pay (current, after 7.2% increase):
Operator 1: $26.57 rising 4 steps to $28.48
Operator 2: $25.39 rising 4 steps to $27.22
Utility (current employees): $23.65 rising 4 steps to $25.34
Utility (new employees and new bidders): $20.89 rising 4 steps to $22.40
Maintenance: $31.12 rising 4 steps to $33.35
Training grade: $27.11 rising 4 steps to $29.05
Temporary employees: $14 (regardless of job)
