Renewal agreement: Effective May 7, 2018, to May 6, 2021. Ratified on May 7, 2018. Signed on May 7, 2018. (First agreement)
Paid holidays: 11 days.
Vacations with pay: Leave will be unpaid. 10 days after 2 years, 15 days after 4 years, 20 days after 10 years, 25 days after 15 years.
Bereavement leave: 5 days for death of spouse, mother, father, sons, stepsons, daughters, stepdaughters, brothers, sisters, mother-in-law, father-in-law, grandmothers, grandfathers, stepmother, stepfather having status of mother or father.
Seniority – recall rights: 12 months with less than 5 years of seniority; 18 months after 5 years of seniority.
Discipline: Sunset clause is 12 months.
Sample rates of pay (current):
Van drivers: $18
Trip fares: 45% of revenue
Trip fares (electric vehicles): 35% of revenue
Trip fares (hybrid vehicles): 35% of revenue
Meet-and-greet fee: $50
Wait time: $1 per minute
Editor’s notes: Traffic violations: When contractor receives parking ticket after following instructions of employer (and can provide physical evidence such as message, email, photo of DDS screen), employer will be responsible for paying ticket. Vehicle deposit: $2,500 at beginning of employment; $1,000 for existing contractors who use electric vehicle.
