Renewal agreement: Effective March 1, 2016, to Feb. 29, 2028. Signed on Jan. 30, 2016.
Shift premium: 4% (previously 3%) of twelfth 52 weeks’ salary for certification pay premium. 15% over applicable dispatcher rates for chief flight dispatcher (technical, training and safety & ATC). 3% of twelfth 52 weeks’ salary for employees who hold international qualifications. 
Paid holidays: 9 days. 
Vacations with pay: 1 day per month, maximum 13 days per year to start, 14 days after 1 year, 21 days after 5 years, 28 days after 15 years, 35 days after 25 years. 
Overtime: Time and one-half for all hours worked in excess of normal shift time. May be banked (unlimited), will be paid out or must be used for time off on last pay period of November. 
Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums for supplementary health coverage, maximum $50,000 coverage, annual reinstatement of $2,000.
Dental: Employer pays 100% of premiums for 90% coverage of basic services, maximum $2,000 per year. Maximum $2,500 lifetime for orthodontic for dependent children.
Vision: $325 (previously $225) every 24 months. $360 maximum lifetime for contact lenses for severe corneal situations. $600 for 48-month period in lieu of eyeglass claims.
Paramedical: 50% coverage, maximum $750 per person, $1,500 per family. Maximum $50 per visit, $1,000 per person per year, $2,000 per family per year for chiropractors, osteopaths, naturopaths, podiatrists. Maximum $50 per visit, $400 per person per year, $800 per family per year for massage therapy.
Sick leave: 6 days per year.
AD&D: Employer pays 100% of premiums for maximum coverage of $75,000.
Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums for maximum coverage of $80,000.
Pension: Air Canada Pension Plan.
Seniority – recall rights: 5 years.
Probationary period: 12 months. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 24 months.
Severance: 2 weeks’ pay after 1 year of service, 1 additional week added per year of service, maximum 30 weeks’ pay.

Editor’s notes: Cockpit familiarization and training: One 8-hour period of classroom annual recurrent training (ART) will be scheduled for all dispatch employees. 12 hours of computer-based training (CBT) ART will be performed on flight dispatch employees scheduled time off. Travel expenses: $20 per day for domestic, trans-border or Caribbean travel less than 5 hours; $73.07 per day (previously $63.87 per day) for domestic, trans-border or Caribbean travel more than 5 hours; 50% for every 12 hours spent (previously $133.11 per day) on international travel. Employer will provide annual allowance of $34.25 for maintaining valid Canadian passport. Hearings aids: $1,500 per person (previously $750 per person) every 5 years.
