Air Georgian ratified a three-year collective bargaining agreement with the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) Local 4059 on Oct. 29.

CUPE represents Air Georgian’s 83 flight attendants working out of the company’s Toronto base.

Highlights of the agreement include compensation increases, an RRSP contribution program, performance incentives, an increase in days off as well as a three-tiered benefits plan, said the company.

Air Georgian began flying for Air Canada in 2000, making them the longest-serving capacity purchase agreement partner of the Air Canada family. They operate more than 64,000 regional flights per year on behalf of Air Canada, carrying more than 1.5 million passengers a year to 31 domestic and U.S. destinations.
