Renewal agreement: Effective Sept. 23, 2017, to Sept. 30, 2019. Ratified on Sept. 23, 2017. Signed on Sept. 23, 2017.
Shift premium: $1.25 per hour for employee who supervises another employee who is paid at higher wage rate than employee.
Paid holidays: 10 days, plus 1 floater day.
Vacations with pay: 2 weeks or 4% after 1 year, 3 weeks or 6% after 5 years, 4 weeks or 8% after 10 years, 5 weeks or 10% after 15 years.
Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 8 hours per day or 42 hours per 7-day period.
Meal allowance: Employer will provide to employees fountain beverages, non-specialty coffee, tea. Employees participating in meal plan will be deducted $3.50 per shift for purchase of approved (non-excluded) food and drink items, maximum of $12 per day.
Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums. Lifetime medical maximum (includes drugs, hospital, vision): $25,000.
Dental: 90% for basic restorative, maximum $1,500 per person per year.
Vision: $250 per person every 24 months.
Paramedical: Psychologist: Maximum $1,000 per person per year. Chiropractor: Maximum $200 per person per year. Naturopath: Maximum $200 per person per year. Osteopath: Maximum $200 per person per year. Podiatrist: Maximum $200 per person per year. Physiotherapy: Maximum $200 per person per year.
Sick leave: 5 days after 1 year of service.
AD&D: Maximum $25,000 coverage.
Life insurance: $25,000 coverage.
Bereavement leave: 3 days for death in immediate family (spouse, common-law spouse, same-sex spouse, employee’s parents, spouse’s parents, stepparent, legal guardian, ward, child, stepchild, sibling, stepsibling, grandparent, grandchild, step-grandchild, step-grandparent). 3 days' leave (but only 2 paid days) for death of aunt, uncle, niece, nephew, relative living in household of employee. 2 additional days without pay if required.
Seniority – recall rights: 6 months.
Probationary period: 90 days.
Discipline: Sunset clause is 24 months.
