Renewal agreement: Effective March 1, 2016, to Feb. 28, 2019. Signed on Aug. 18, 2016.
Wage adjustments: 
Effective March 1, 2017: $0.30 per hour.
Effective March 1, 2018: $0.30 per hour.
Shift premium: $0.75 per hour for training other employees.
Paid holidays: 10 days. 
Vacations with pay: 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 5 years, 4 weeks after 10 years, 5 weeks after 15 years, 3 weeks after 30 years. 
Overtime: Time and one-half for work after 40 hours per week. 
Meal allowance: $2 per shift deduction for employees to eat meals during shift.
Medical benefits: 80% of premiums paid by employer. 90% reimbursement for expenses including prescription drugs.
Dental: 80% of premiums paid by employer. 90% reimbursement for basic services.
Vision: $250 per person every 24 months. $50 every 24 months for eye exams. Effective Jan. 1, 2019 $80 every 24 months.
Paramedical: 90% reimbursement for chiropractor, osteopath, naturopath, podiatrist, physiotherapist, acupuncturist, speech therapist, psychologist and masseur, maximum $200 per person per year. Employer will continue to provide reimbursement after 15th chiropractor visit or when total out-of-pocket expenses are $450.
Weekly indemnity: 100% of premiums paid by employer. 66 2/3% of weekly salary (to El maximum), maximum 15 weeks payable on the first day of accident or hospitalization or fourth day of illness.
Sick leave: 5 days per year.
AD&D: 100% of premiums paid by employer. $25,000 coverage.
Life insurance: 100% of premiums paid by employer. $25,000 coverage.
Bereavement leave: 3 days for death in immediate family (father, mother, husband, common-law husband, wife, common-law wife, brother, sister, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, child, grandchild, mother-in-law, father-in-law, grandparent). 1 day for death of aunt or uncle.
Seniority – recall rights: 12 months. 
Probationary period: 60 days. 
Safety shoes: $50 per year or $100 every 2 years for anti-slip footwear.
Uniforms/clothing: 3 sets of uniforms supplied by employer. Maximum $35 per year if employee must purchase proper-fitting pants. 
Sample rates of hourly pay (current, after $0.60 per hour increase):
Top 5 employees: $13.55 rising 2 steps to $14.15
All other employees: $12.45 rising 2 steps to $13.05
Editor’s notes: Examinations costs: A medical or X-ray examination, vaccination, inoculation or other immunization will be fully covered by employer, when required by employer. UFCW local training & education fund: Employer will submit $75 for each year of the collective agreement into the fund. Makeup: Wearing of makeup is permitted, provided it is not excessive, which is described as that which may cake and fall off and become a food- safety hazard.
