Provincewide, Ontario (1,700 journeypersons, architectural glass and metal technicians, glass and metal technicians, glaziers, working supervisors, lead hands, apprentices) and the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades (IUPAT)

Renewal agreement: Effective May 4, 2017, to April 30, 2019. Signed on June 9, 2017.
Shift premium: 8 hours’ pay for working 7 hours between 4 p.m. and 5 a.m. $1.50 per hour for work performed from swing stage or bosun chair. $2 per hour for chargehands with more than 5 employees working. $0.50 per hour for lead hand with more than 4 employees working. 
Paid holidays: 10 days. 
Vacations with pay: 10% of gross wages paid monthly into the vacation pay trust fund. 
Overtime: Time and one-half after working 40 hours per week. Double time after first 2 hours. 
Medical benefits: Employer pays into International Union of Painters and Allied Trades, Province of Ontario Health and Welfare Trust Fund. Effective May 1, 2017: $3.23 (previously $3.03) for every hour worked. Effective May 1, 2018: $3.33 for every hour worked. 
Pension: Employer pays $2 (previously $1.75) for every hour worked into International Union of Painters and Allied Trades, Province of Ontario Pension Trust Fund. 
Mileage: $0.54 per kilometre (previously $0.52 per kilometre) for employee using own car at employer’s request.

Apprentices
First 1,000 hours: 50% of journeyperson’s rate
Second 1,000 hours: 55% of journeyperson’s rate
Third 1,000 hours: 60% of journeyperson’s rate
Fourth 1,000 hours: 65% of journeyperson’s rate
Fifth 1,000 hours: 70% of journeyperson’s rate
Sixth 1,000 hours: 75% of journeyperson’s rate
Seventh 1,000 hours: 80% of journeyperson’s rate
Eighth 1,000 hours: 85% of journeyperson’s rate
