Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 29, 2018, to May 31, 2020. Signed on Jan. 29, 2018. 
Shift premium: $2.25 per hour (previously $2.10 per hour) for all hours worked, including overtime hours, between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m.
Paid holidays: 9 days, plus 2 floating holidays.
Vacations with pay: 120 hours or 4% after 6 months, 144 hours or 6% after 6 years, 168 hours or 6% after 11 years, 192 hours or 6% after 16 years. 
Overtime: Time and one-half for work in excess of normal scheduled hours or on first or second day of rest. 
Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
Dental: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
Vision: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
Sick leave: 5 days per year.
Pension: Standard Life Assurance group RSP plan. 
Bereavement leave: 3 days for death in immediate family (father, mother, stepfather, stepmother, foster-parent, brother, sister, spouse, common-law spouse resident with employee, child, child of common-law spouse, stepchild, foster-child, ward of employee, grandchild, grandparent, father-in-law, mother-in-law, fiancée, relative residing in employee’s household). 1 day for death of son-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, stepbrother, stepsister.
Seniority – recall rights: 1 year. 
Call-in pay: 4 hours’ pay at applicable overtime rate or applicable rate of overtime compensation for time worked. Work performed at non-work site will be paid for actual hours worked at applicable overtime rate or minimum of 1 hour at applicable overtime rate, whichever is greater.
Probationary period: 6 months. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 12 months for written warnings; 24 months for suspensions.
Severance: 2 weeks’ pay for first year of service; 1 week’s pay for each subsequent year thereafter of service.
Safety shoes: $150 every 2 years for locally sourced footwear for work for employee who is required to wear safety boots.
Uniforms/clothing: US$300 per year. Any monies remaining after purchase of uniform items may be used to purchase other items, such as rubber-soled, black shoes, black belts, caps, as available through employer-approved vendors.

Editor’s notes: Standby: 1 hour pay for each day of week on which standby duty occurs. Parking: Employee who uses vehicle to travel to and from work will receive free parking space at or near place of employment, subject to YVR availability. Public transit: Employee who uses public transit to travel to and from place of employment will be reimbursed, maximum $50 per month. Long-service: Premium of $500 will be paid on June 1 of year 8 to employees who have completed more than 8 years of service. Each year of service beyond 8 will result in additional $250 premium, paid on June 1.
