Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 1, 2017, to Dec. 31, 2018. Ratified on Dec. 8, 2016. Signed on Jan. 1, 2017.
Shift premium: $2.40 per hour when working between 4 p.m. and 7 a.m. Effective 2018: $2.44 per hour. $1.46 per hour for odorant handling bonus. Effective Jan.1, 2018: $1.49 per hour. $25 per month for employees who have been requested to obtain Alberta vehicle-inspection certificate. Effective Jan.1, 2018: $25.44 per month.
Paid holidays: 11 days, plus 1 civic holiday in communities in which it is declared. 4 flex days per year. 
Vacations with pay: 3 weeks to start, 4 weeks after 7 years, 5 weeks after 16 years, 6 weeks after 24 years. 
Overtime: Double time for all work after 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week. May be banked, maximum 5 days at any given time, maximum cumulative 10 days per year. 
Meal allowance: When working 2 hours overtime, reasonable meal will be provided in third hour and every 4 hours thereafter. 
Bereavement leave: 3 days for death in immediate family (spouse, common-law spouse, mother, father, sister, brother, husband, wife, son, daughter, mother-in-law, father-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandfather, grandmother, grandchildren, dependent-relative living in employee’s household). 2 additional days for extended travel. 
Seniority - recall rights: 1 year. 
Call-in pay: Minimum 2 hours’ pay at overtime rate or actual hours, whichever is greater.
Probationary period: 180 days. 
Severance: 2.5 weeks of pay per year of service. 
Safety shoes: $400 every 2 years.

Editor’s notes: Travel pay: When employees are required to work away from home base, per diem will be paid. For 1 to 49 days away: $8.11 per day. Effective Jan. 1, 2018: $8.25 per day. For 50 to 99 days away: $19.86 per day. Effective Jan. 1, 2018: $20.21 per day. For 100 or more days away: $33.10 per day. Effective Jan. 1, 2018: $33.68 per day. Employer will provide for board and lodging. Standby allowance: $37.70 for each normal day, $98.46 for each scheduled day of rest or holiday. Effective Jan. 1, 2018: $38.36 for each normal day, $100.18 for each scheduled day of rest and holiday. Personal vehicle use: $20 per month parking allowance when employee uses own vehicle for business use.
