Renewal agreement: Effective Feb 15, 2016, to Feb 14, 2017. Signed on Feb. 19, 2016.

Wage adjustments:

Effective July 15, 2016: $200 signing bonus
Effective July 15, 2016: 0.5% wage increase  

Shift premium:
50¢ per hour for all hours worked on shifts scheduled to start between 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. 75¢ per hour for all hours worked on shifts scheduled to start between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. $2 per hour for lead hands.

Paid holidays:
10 days.

Vacations with pay:
4% vacation pay to start, 6% after 5 years, 8% after 10 years and 10% after 20 years.  

Meal allowance:
$15 after 10 hours of work, including regularly scheduled shift.

Sick leave:
Employer pays for first 2 weeks’ loss of pay if the employee qualifies for insurance plan’s sick and accident benefits.

Life insurance:
Employer provides $35,000 group life insurance policy including AD&D. $10,000 for employee’s spouse and $5,000 for employee’s child.

Bereavement leave:
4 days for employee’s father, mother, brother, sister, spouse or child. 1 day for employee’s grandparent or grandchild.

Seniority – recall rights:
18 months.

Call-in pay:
Minimum 3 hours at time and one-half.

Probationary period:
60 days within 1-year period.

Safety shoes:
$150 during life of the collective agreement.

Uniforms/clothing:
Bagging crew will be supplied with work gloves to be replaced as needed. $1 per pair to a maximum of 150 pairs per year. $100 per year for the purchase of weather protective clothing for winter maintenance employees working in unheated spaced in January and February.
