Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 24, 2020 to Jan. 24, 2024. Ratified on Jan. 24, 2020. Signed on Jan. 24, 2020. (First agreement.)

Wage adjustments:

Effective Jan. 14, 2019 (retroactive): 2%

Effective Jan. 14, 2020: 2%

Effective Jan. 14, 2021: 2%

Effective Jan. 14, 2022: 2%

Effective Jan. 14, 2023: 2%

Paid holidays: 10 days, plus 1 floater day (after 1 year of service). Employees will have option to substitute maximum 2 holidays for holy days generally recognized by followers of employee’s religious beliefs.

Vacations with pay: 4% to start, 2 weeks or 4% after 1 year, 3 weeks or 6% after 5 years, 4 weeks or 8% after 10 years.

Overtime: Time and one-half for work after normal hours of work. Cannot be taken as compensating time off.

Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums (after 6 months of employment for employees who work 30 hours per week).

Vision: $150 per employee every 2 years.

Sick leave: 0.5 days per month (after 6 months of employment for employees who work 30 hours per week). Sick days are not cumulative from year to year.

Bereavement leave: 3 days for death in immediate family (father, mother, spouse, child, brother, sister, father-in-law, mother-in-law, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, grandparents, grandchild). Additional unpaid leave may be given when requested.

Seniority – recall rights: 6 months after 1 year of service for layoffs.

Probationary period: 90 calendar days of employment.

Discipline: Sunset clause is 18 months for records of employee discipline. All employees employed at ratification will have disciplinary records fully expunged and any other files that may exist.

Safety shoes: $75 per year reimbursement for employees who are required to wear safety shoes, and who have completed probationary period.

Uniforms/clothing: Employees who are required to wear uniforms or special apparel during working hours will have uniforms, special apparel provided by employer.

Sous chef: $22.06 rising 4 steps to $23.88

Lead cook: $18.36 rising 4 steps to $19.87

Cook 1: $17.85 rising 4 steps to $19.32

Dishwasher: $15.30 rising 4 steps to $16.56

Food and beverage department

Team lead: $18.36 rising 4 steps to $19.87

Server: $15.30 rising 4 steps to $16.56

Host: $15.30 rising 4 steps to $16.56

Support: $15.30 rising 4 steps to $16.56

Room department

Team lead: $18.77 rising 4 steps to $20.32

Room inspector: $16.32 rising 4 steps to $17.67

Laundry attendant: $16.32 rising 4 steps to $17.67

Editor’s notes: Meetings outside of working hours: Employees at work who are requested to attend information meetings or training exercises — outside of working hours — will be paid regular hourly rate for all time longer than 15 minutes. Citizenship ceremony leave: 1 half-day to attend citizenship ceremony to receive certificate of citizenship. Special event/tour gratuities: 60% level and will be allocated to unionized staff working event or during tour dates.
