Renewal agreement: Effective April 21, 2017, to Jan. 31, 2019. Signed on March 31, 2017.
Wage adjustments: 
Effective Jan. 1, 2018: 1%
Shift premium: $1.05 per hour for ACA 1 premium, no run + taxi. $2.15 per hour for ACA 2 premium, run + taxi. $2.20 per hour for acting lead. $150 per 24-hour-period in YFB. $100 per 24-hour-period, other than YFB. 
Paid holidays: 10 days. 
Vacations with pay: Proration of 2 weeks or proration of 4% to start, 2 weeks or 4% after 1 year, 3 weeks or 6% after 3 years, 4 weeks or 8% after 10 years, 5 weeks or 10% after 20 years. 
Overtime: Time and one-half for all hours after 37.5 hours per week. May be banked for time off, maximum 50 hours. 
Sick leave: 5 days.
Pension: Employer will contribute 4%, minimum 4% from employee to company pension plan.
Bereavement leave: 5 days for spouse, common-law spouse, child. 3 days for death of immediate family member other than spouse or child.
Seniority – recall rights: 12 months. 
Call-in pay: Greater of actual time worked or minimum of 4 hours. 
Probationary period: 6 months. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 1 year.
Severance: 1 week per year of service, minimum 2 weeks, maximum 16 weeks. 
Safety shoes: $200 every 12 months. 
Uniforms/clothing: Employer will pay 100% of cost of required uniform. Upon request, employer will provide maximum of 2 additional shirts, 2 additional pants for required period of pregnancy, which will be returned at end of maternity leave.

Editor’s notes: Northern travel allowance: $389.33 bimonthly for married, $233.58 bimonthly for single residing in YZF; $556.17 bimonthly for married, $333.71 bimonthly for single residing in YFB. Per diem: When employees are working away from base and meals are not provided: $20 in YFB, $15 elsewhere for 2 to 5 hours away from base; $40 in YFB, $35 elsewhere for 5 to 10 hours away from base; $75 in YFB, $65 elsewhere for 10 to 24 hours away from base. Paid education leave: Employer will pay $1,000 per year into fund to provide paid educational leave.
