Renewal agreement: Effective Sept. 25, 2016, to Sept. 24, 2019. Signed on Sept. 25, 2016.
Shift premium: $0.50 per hour for hours worked between 5 p.m. and 5 a.m. $0.75 per hour for 1 person per shift who has highest-rated first-aid certificate. $1 per hour higher than highest hourly rated employee under lead hand’s direction for lead hand. 
Paid holidays: 11 days. 
Vacations with pay: 2 weeks or 4% after 1 year, 3 weeks or 6% after 4 years, 4 weeks or 8% after 9 years, 5 weeks or 10% after 14 years, 6 weeks or 12% after 23 years. 
Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week, double time for all work after 11 hours per day or 48 hours per week for employees who work 5-day schedule. Time and one-half for all work after 10 hours per day or 40 hours per week, double time for all work after 12 hours per day or 48 hours per week for employees who work 4-day schedule. Maximum 8 hours of overtime per week.
Medical benefits: Employer pays 80% of premiums, employee pays 20% of premiums. 
Dental: Employer pays 80% of premiums, employee pays 20% of premiums. 
Vision: Employer pays 80% of premiums, employee pays 20% of premiums for $200 every 2 years per family. $75 every 2 years for eye exams. 
Sick leave: 5 days per year. 
LTD: Employer pays 80% of premiums, employee pays 20% of premiums for 66.7% of first $2,250 plus 40% of balance per month, maximum $6,000
AD&D: Employer pays 80% of premiums, employee pays 20% of premiums for coverage of 100% annual earnings, maximum $150,000.
Life insurance: Employer pays 80% of premiums, employee pays 20% of premiums for coverage of 100% annual earnings, maximum $150,000.
Pension: Employer matches employee contribution, maximum 2.5%.
Bereavement leave: 3 days for death in immediate family (spouse, mother, father, grandparents, grandchildren, sons, stepsons, daughter, stepdaughters, brothers, sisters, mother-in-law, father-in-law, stepfather, stepmother).
Seniority – recall rights: 12 months. 
Call-in pay: Minimum 2 hours’ pay at overtime rate.
Probationary period: 60 days worked. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 12 months.
Severance: 1 week’s pay per year of service for employees with up to 5 years of service. 2 weeks’ pay per year of service for employees with 5 years of service. 
Safety shoes: $175 per year. 
Uniforms/clothing: RSRs will receive uniform issue of 1 baseball cap, 1 toque, 5 short-sleeve shirts, 2 long-sleeve shirts, 5 in total of shorts or pants as chosen by RSR, 1 long-sleeve fleece, 1 jacket. Inside employees will receive 1 baseball cap, 1 toque, 1 pair rain pants, 1 rain jacket, 5 long-sleeve shirts, 1 waterproof winter jacket, 5 in total of pants, 1 pair steel-toed rain boots (CSA-approved).
