Renewal agreement: Effective June 1, 2015, to June 1, 2016.
Wage adjustments:
Effective June 1, 2015: 1%
Effective June 1, 2016: 1%
Shift premium: $10 for registered nurses required to supervise 2 floors because of staff shortage.
Paid holidays: 10 days plus 2 floaters. Time and one-half for work on a named holiday.
Vacations with pay: 1 day per month worked, up to 7, to start, 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 4 years, 4 weeks after 8 years, 5 weeks after 15 years, 6 weeks after 23 years, 7 weeks after 28 years.
Overtime: Time and one-half for all hours worked in excess of 8 per day.
Sick leave: Full-time employees credited with 22.5 hours of sick leave after probation. 7.5 hours earned per month up to 105 hours.
Pension: 4% contributed by both employer and employee.
Bereavement leave: 5 days for the death of a spouse, common-law spouse or child. 4 days for the death of a brother, sister or grandchild. 3 days for the death of a grandparent, father-in-law, mother-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, daughter-in-law or son-in-law. 1 day for an aunt, uncle, niece or nephew.
Seniority – recall rights: 2 years.
Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours’ pay.
Probationary period: 450 hours.
Discipline: Sunset clause is 18 months.
Uniforms/clothing: $12 allowance per month for full-time employees, $6 for part-time employees. $13 and $7 respectively effective Jan. 1, 2015. Aprons provided free of charge for kitchen staff.

Housekeeping: $18.39, rising after 3 years to $19.73

Maintenance: $18.39, rising after 3 years to $19.73
Health-care aide: $18.82, rising after 3 years to $20.16
Personal support worker: $18.82, rising after 3 years to $20.16
Recreation aide: $18.82, rising after 3 years to $20.16
Restorative care aide: $19.07, rising after 3 years to $20.41
Cook: $19.56, rising after 3 years to $20.90
Registered practical nurse: $25.38, rising after 3 years to $26.75
Student: $12.68, rising after 1 year to $13.37
