Renewal agreement: Effective June 17, 2018, to June 17, 2020. Ratified on June 17, 2018. Signed on June 17, 2018.
Wage adjustments: 
Effective 2019: $0.50 per hour each year to journeyman base wage (as Alberta CPI Index is greater than 2%).
Shift premium: $1 per hour for all shift work starting between 8 p.m. and midnight.
Paid holidays: 11 days. 
Vacations with pay: 6% per pay period. 
Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 8 hours per day or 44 hours per week or 88 hours per 2 weeks. 
Medical benefits: Employer will contribute $2 per employee per hour to Electrical Industry Insurance Benefit Trust Fund of Alberta.
Pension: Employer will contribute 5% to RRSP plan
Probationary period: 3 months. 
Uniforms/clothing: Employees will report for work equipped with safety boots (must be CSA-approved, grade 1 (green triangle), in good condition, at least 6 inches high from sole of boot). Employer will provide adequately fitting protective clothing where acids, chemicals, grease, dust or fibres prevail; cleaning of protective clothing before re-issue; fire-retardant coveralls will be provided where required.
Tool allowance: Employer will supply all power tools, instruments and other tools, including appropriate toolboxes for storage. Employer will replace employee’s personal tools when destroyed by fire on employer’s premises, lost by theft or forced entry, damaged beyond repair in course of work assignment.

Gen. foreman: $48.75
Foreman: $45.76
Sub-foreman: $42.39
Lead certified communication technician: $39.40
Certified communication technician: $37.53
Uncertified level A communication technician: $35.66
Uncertified level B communication technician: $33.79
Fourth-year apprentice: $30.05
Shallow utility-worker level A: $28.18
Shallow utility-worker level B: $26.31
Third-year apprentice: $24.44
Second-year apprentice: $20.17
First-year apprentice: $18.83
Editor’s notes: Safety equipment: Employer will provide following to all employees on as-required basis: safety glasses and flash glasses (non-prescription), hearing protection, respirator, hard hat, voltage detector/sniffer, appropriate work gloves. Industry fund: Employer will contribute $0.12 per hour to Electrical Contractors Industry Fund.
