Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 1, 2016, to Dec. 31, 2019. Signed on Aug. 4, 2016. 
Wage adjustments: 
Effective Jan. 1, 2016: 1.5%
Effective Jan. 1, 2017: 1.5%
Effective Jan. 1, 2018: 2%
Effective Jan. 1, 2019: 2%
Shift premium: OFA Level 2: $125 per month for full-time employees, $0.80 per hour for part-time, auxiliary employees. OFA Level 3: $145 per month for full-time employees, $0.95 per hour for part-time, auxiliary employees. 
Paid holidays: 12 days. 
Vacations with pay: 1 1/12 of 15 days for each month to start, 15 days after 2 years, 20 days after 8 years, 25 days after 16 years, 30 days after 24 years. 
Overtime: Time and one-half for first 2 hours after regular hours, double time after that. 
Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
Dental: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums. Two times earnings, maximum $50,000 coverage.
Probationary period: 6 months. 12 months for workers above pay grade 27. 
Safety shoes: $100 reimbursement (previously $85), $125 reimbursement (previously $110) for members of paving crew.
Tool allowance: $0.50 per hour in lieu of tool allowance for foreman 1 trades, foreman 1 mechanic

Foreman 1 trades: $38.88
Foreman 1 welding: $39.38
Foreman 1 mechanic: $39.38
Sub-foreman waterworks: $29.90
Sub-foreman sewers: $29.90
Editor’s notes: Payment for certifications: The city will pay costs (maximum $125) for medical appointments for positions requiring a class 3 driver’s licence with airbrake endorsement.
