Shift premium: $1 per hour (previously $0.75 per hour) for contact with live sewage while cleaning sewage pump stations, clearing blocked sewers or making sewer connections. Occupational first-aid pay: $150 per month (previously $125 per month) for regular full-time, temporary full-time employees; $0.90 per hour (previously $0.80 per hour) for regular part-time, temporary part-time, auxiliary employees. Shift differential: $1 per hour (previously $0.85 per hour) for all hours worked between 6 p.m. and 7 a.m. for regular full-time, temporary full-time employees; $1 per hour (previously $0.85 per hour) for all hours worked between 5:30 p.m. and 6 a.m. for regular full-time, temporary full-time, part-time employees.
Paid holidays: 12 days.
Overtime: Time and one-half for all hours worked after 8 hours per day, 70 hours every 2 weeks for the first 2 hours. Double time for all other hours worked.
Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums for full-time employees. Employee pays 100% of premiums for part-time employees.
Dental: Basic: 80% coverage. Prosthetics, crowns, bridges: 50% coverage. Orthodontics: 50% coverage, maximum $3,000 lifetime per dependant.
Vision: $500 (previously $350) every 2 years. Eye examinations: $100 every 24 months.
Paramedical: Clinical psychologist: maximum $1,200 per person (previously $600) per year. Massage, physiotherapy: maximum $1,000 per person (previously $800) per year. Chiropractic, naturopathic: maximum $1,000 per person (previously $500) per year.
Bereavement leave: 3 days for death in immediate family. 1/2 day to attend funeral as pallbearer or mourner.
Seniority – recall rights: 12 months.
