Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 1, 2015, to Dec. 31, 2017.
Wage adjustments:
Effective Jan. 1, 2015: 1%
Effective July 1, 2015: 1%
Effective Jan. 1, 2016: 1%
Effective July 1, 2016: 1.25%
Effective Jan. 1, 2017: 1%

Shift premium: 5% premium for work on a Sunday. 25¢ per hour for chlorine handling.
Paid holidays: 12 days.
Vacations with pay: 3 weeks after 1 year, 4 weeks after 4 years.
Overtime: Double time for all hours worked in excess of 8 per day or 40 per week.
Vision: $500 for vision care every 2 years. $90 for eye exams every 2 years.
AD&D: $100,000.
Life insurance: $100,000.
Pension: Municipal Pension Plan.
Seniority – recall rights: 6 months for casual employees, 1 year for regular employees.
Call-in pay: Minimum 2 hours’ pay at overtime rate. Minimum 3 hours’ pay if call-out is between midnight and 6 a.m.
Probationary period: 3 months.
Discipline: Sunset clause is 18 months for suspension, 1 year for written warnings.
Safety shoes: $175. $85 for pool deck shoes.
Uniforms/clothing: $75 for swimwear for lifeguards, shall not exceed $150 per year. Coveralls for garbage handlers, welders, pipefitters, sewer workers, mechanics, operators, stonemasons, asphalt crews, painters, labourers. Hard hats supplied as needed.
