Wage adjustments: 
Effective Jan. 1, 2016: 1.7%

Shift premium: $1.25 per hour for hours worked after 5 p.m., or before 7 a.m.
Paid holidays: 12 days, 1 floater day (must be taken Dec. 24 and March 30).

Meal allowance: $11 for work after 3 extra hours. 
Medical benefits: 100% premium paid by employer. 100% prescription reimbursement.
Dental: 100% premium paid by employer. Dentures/crowns/bridges: 50%, maximum $1,500 per year. Orthodontic: 50%, lifetime maximum $3,250.
Vision: $450 per 24 months. 
Paramedical: Physiotherapist: $850 per year. Massage therapist: $1,100 per year. Psychologist: $300 per year. Chiropractor: $450 per year. Osteopath: $300 per year. Naturopath: $325 per year. Podiatrist/chiropodist: $325 per year. 
Sick leave: 1.5 hours per month, maximum 18 days per year. 
LTD: 100% premium paid by employer. 70% monthly earnings, maximum $5,000 per month
Life insurance: 100% premium paid by employer. 2 times annual earnings. 
Pension: Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System.
Bereavement leave: 5 days for death in immediate family (spouse, child, adopted child, stepchild, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, parent, adoptive parent, stepparent, father-in-law, mother-in-law, brother, sister, stepbrother, stepsister). 3 days for death in extended family (grandparent, step-grandparent, grandchild, step-grandchlld, any relative who is dependent on the employee). 1 day for death of friend or to be a pallbearer.
Call-in pay: 4.5 hours or hours worked multiplied by applicable overtime rate credited into overtime bank. $0.30 per kilometre, maximum 30 kilometres.
Probationary period: 3 months, maximum 6 months (previously 6 months, maximum 12 months).
Uniforms/clothing: $325 per year. $325 per year reimbursement for clothing damage on the job.
Tool allowance: $400 per year reimbursement for any damaged personal tools (previously $300 per year).

Editor’s notes: Contract positions: Workers who exceed 36 continuous months will become regular full-time/part-time positions. Personal time: 5 days per year of sick leave without disclosing reason. Banked overtime: Maximum 35 hours per year as time off by Dec. 31 or it is paid out. Standby pay: $50 per day, maximum $290 per week in 2016, 2017. $55 per day, maximum $300 per week in 2018, 2019. Hearing aids: $700 per 3 years. Fertility therapy: $2,000 lifetime. Exercise room: $3,000 one-time for exercise equipment in employee room.
