Renewal agreement: Effective April 1, 2016, to March 31, 2019. Signed on July 15, 2016.
Shift premium: First aid: $0.21 per hour for level 2; $0.24 per hour for level 3. $0.90 per hour (previously $0.75 per hour) for all hours worked after 8 p.m. Effective December 2017 sheet: $1.05 per hour. Shops, garages: $1.55 per hour for afternoon shift; $1.65 per hour for night shift. Spray painting: $0.25 per hour facilities  maintenance employees when spray painting. Sanitation: Employees cleaning buses shall receive a premium equal to 50% of straight-time pay when required to clean vomit or excrement from vehicles or to remove or contain medical products or waste (i.e. hypodermic needles).
Paid holidays: 12 days. 
Vacations with pay: 15 days after 1 year, 20 days after 8 years, 25 days after 16 years, 30 days after 23 years. Employees entitled to 1 additional day per year of service after 25th anniversary, maximum 35 days. Employees with 4 weeks’ vacation may bank up to 2 weeks per year, maximum 4 weeks. Employees with 5 or more weeks’ vacation may bank up to 2 weeks per year in either vacation bank or retirement bank. Maximum vacation bank is 6 weeks, maximum retirement bank is 10 weeks.
Overtime: From 7 hours and 30 minutes to 9 1/2 hours: 150% rate of pay. In excess of 9 1/2 hours 200% rate of pay. 
Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums. 
Dental: Employer pays 100% of premiums. 
Vision: Eyeglasses, laser eye surgery coverage at $400 per covered member every 24 months.
Paramedical: Psychological counselling $1,000 per year (previously $500 per year) for each employee and dependants. Acupuncturist: $100 per year; chiropractor: $400 per year (previously $200 per year); massage practitioner: no limit; naturopath: $200 per year; physiotherapist : no limit; podiatrist: $200 per year; speech language pathologist: $100 per year.
STD: Employer pays 100% of premiums. Coverage of 100% of earnings for 8 weeks; 85% from 9th week to end of 17th week.
LTD: Employee pays 100% of premiums. Coverage of 50% of earnings after 17 weeks. 
Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums for coverage of one and one-half times earnings, maximum $150,000.
Pension: All employees who are required to contribute under Public Pension Service Plan rules will be required to do so as condition of employment.
Bereavement leave: 5 days (4 days for 4-day-per-week workers) for death of spouse, (common-law, same-sex), child, stepchild, mother, stepmother, father, stepfather. 3 days for death of sister, brother, father-in-law, mother-in-law, grandparent, grandchild, legal guardian.
Seniority – recall rights: 24 months. 
Call-in pay: Up to 7 1/2 hours: 150% rate of pay. From 7 1/2 hours to 10 1/2 hours: 225% rate of pay. After 10 1/2 hours: 300% rate of pay. 
Probationary period: 675 hours. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 2 years.
Severance: Less than 3 years: 75 hours; less than 4 years: 112.5 hours; less than 5 years: 150 hours; less than 6 years: 187.5 hours; less than 7 years: 225 hours; less than 8 years: 262.5 hours; 8 years or more: 300 hours.Safety shoes: $200 per year (previously $150 per year), or $400 every 2 years (previously $300 every 2 years).
Uniforms/clothing: $12 bi-weekly cleaning allowance.
Tool allowance: $0.70 times number of normal hours of work (excluding overtime and premium time) in payment period.

Editor’s notes: Online training: When employer requires employees to complete online training course outside normal working hours, employee will be paid at time and one-half for time training. Hearing aid coverage: $1,000 maximum for each ear, every 5 years. Transit pass: 1 transit pass will be given to each employee and 1 pass will be issued to spouse or child. Lifetime pass for employee and spouse upon retirement. Union education leave: Employer will pay into Unifor Paid Education Leave Training Fund $0.03 per hour worked per employee for paid education leave.
