Renewal agreement: January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2029.

Shift premium: $600 for full calendar year on 3-shift rotation basis. $400 for full calendar year on 2-shift rotation basis. $500 for full calendar year on rotational 12-hour shift schedule. Investigative premium of 2 to 7 %, for members assigned to certain bureaus.
Paid holidays: 13 days including 1 floating holiday.
Vacations with pay: 128 hours after 1 year, 152 hours after 5 years, 168 hours after 10 years, 216 hours after 15 years, 256 hours after 20 years, 296 hours after 25 years, 304 hours after 30 years, an additional 8 hours for each subsequent year of service after 30.
Overtime: Time-and-a-half for time worked more than ¼ of an hour in excess of regular tour of duty. Can be taken as time off up to 80 hours per year. Time-and-a-half for minimum of 4 hours on regularly scheduled day off or on a statutory holiday. Time-and-a-half for time required to attend court or Crown attorney meetings on day off or prior to schedule shift, with minimum of 4 hours (3 hours for Crown attorney meetings).
Meal allowance: $15 for working two hours or more beyond end of normal shift.
Medical Benefits: Employer pays full cost of premiums for Ontario Health Insurance Plan and Extended Health Care Plan for employees with 6 months of service or more. Health spending account of 1,000 annually.
Dental: Employer pays full cost of basic dental plan providing 80$ co-insurance for major restorative services and 50% co-insurance for orthodontic services.
Vision: $700 every 24 months, increasing annually to $900 on Jan. 1, 2029. $3,000 lifetime maximum for laser eye surgery.
Short-term disability: Continuation of salary in whole or in part for 800 hours for non-occupational illness or accident. Starts at 66 2/3% of salary, with portion at 100% at 40 hours after 1 year of service increasing to all 800 at 15 years or more of service.
Long-term disability: Employer pays full cost of premiums for coverage of 66 2/3% of salary up to 14,000 per month after waiting period of 17 weeks.
Life insurance: Employer pays full cost of premiums for coverage of 2 times annual salary to the nearest $1,000, up to age 70.
Pension: All members participate in Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System (OMERS) with the employer and member contributing amount required under OMERS legislation.
Bereavement leave: 10 paid days for death of child (including stillbirths). 5 paid days for death of parent, spouse, sibling. 3 paid days for death of parent-in-law, sibling-in-law, grandchild, grandparent, or persons standing in loco parentis.
Sick leave: 8 paid, non-cumulative days per calendar year.
Seniority – recall rights: 2 years.
Call-in pay: Time-and-a-half for a minimum of 3 hours for callback before next tour of duty.
Uniforms/clothing: $1,600 ($1,800 effective Jan. 1, 2027) per year for members assigned to bureau requiring civilian attire. $335 per year of dry-cleaning vouchers.
