Renewal agreement: Effective Sept. 1, 2017, to Aug. 31, 2020. Signed on Aug. 2, 2017.
Shift premium: Day shift: $1 per hour for heavy-duty cleaner; $1.50 per hour for lead hand. Night shift: $1 per hour for general-duty cleaner; $1.50 per hour for heavy-duty cleaner; $2 per hour for lead hand.
Paid holidays: 12 days. 
Vacations with pay: 2 weeks or 4% after 1 year, 3 weeks or 6% after 5 years, 4 weeks or 8% after 10 years. May be carried over into next year, maximum of what employee is entitled to. 
Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums for single coverage, employee pays $75 per month for family coverage. 
Dental: 80% reimbursement, maximum $2,000 per year for basic coverage, 100% reimbursement for accidental dental injury coverage (no maximum).
Vision: $200 every 24 months for eye examinations, glasses, contact lenses, laser eye surgery.
Paramedical: $300 per year each for chiropractors, massage therapists, naturopaths, osteopaths, psychologists/social workers, physiotherapists, podiatrists, speech therapists.
Sick leave: 2 days per year, may be accumulated maximum 10 days. 
Life insurance: Coverage of $10,000.
Bereavement leave: 5 days for death in immediate family (child, spouse, father, mother, sister, brother, father-in-law, mother-in-law, stepchild, grandchildren, common-law spouse, child of common-law spouse, grandparents).
Seniority – recall rights: 12 months. 
Probationary period: 3 months. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 12 months.
Safety shoes: $200 per year for heavy-duty cleaners; $100 per year for all other employees.
Uniforms/clothing: Employer will provide all uniforms which may include may include shirts, pants, footwear. Employer will provide employees with 3 uniform shirts per year.
Mileage: Treasury Board kilometre rate.
Sample rates of hourly pay (current, after 23% increase):
0 to 3 months: $13.25 rising 3 steps to $16.25
3 months to 2 years: $13.75 rising 3 steps to $17
2 to 5 years: $14.25 rising 3 steps to $17.75
5 years or more: $14.75 rising 3 steps to $18.25
Editor’s notes: Safety training: Employer will assume cost of providing all employees with GHS WHMIS training. Current certificates covering GHS WHMIS will be provided. Employees will attend GHS WHMIS training without penalty. Social justice fund: Employer will pay PSAC Social Justice Fund $500 per year.
