Renewal agreement: Effective Oct. 1, 2016, to Sept. 30, 2017. Signed on Oct. 5, 2016.
Wage adjustments: 
Effective first year: -9.1%
Shift premium: Lead hand: $1 per hour. Dual ticket: $2 per hour. Night shift: $2 per hour. Steward: $0.50 per hour. Steward w/ tool box 1: $0.75 per hour. Steward w/ tool box 2: $1 per hour. Steward w/ tool box 3: $1.25 per hour. 
Paid holidays: 11 days. 
Vacations with pay: 6% on each paycheque to start, 8% after 13,500 hours worked. 
Overtime: Time and one-half for all hours after 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week. 
Medical benefits: CLAC Health and Welfare Trust Fund.
Dental: Basic services: 100% coverage, maximum $2,000 per person per year. Comprehensive: 50% coverage, maximum $2,000 per person per year. Orthodontic: 50% coverage, maximum $3,000 lifetime maximum per child younger than 19.
Vision: $300 every year per child younger than 19, $300 every 2 years per person older than 19.
STD: 60% coverage, maximum $600 per week, maximum 119 days.
LTD: 60% coverage, maximum $2,600 per month, payable after 119 days.
AD&D: $100,000 coverage.
Life insurance: $100,000 coverage.
Pension: CLAC Pension Plan.
Bereavement leave: 3 days for death in immediate family (spouse, common-law spouse, child, legal dependant, father, mother, father-in-law, mother-in-law, brother, sister, grandparents, grandchildren).
Call-in pay: Minimum 2 hours’ pay.
Probationary period: 3 months. 
Safety shoes: All employees will purchase and wear CSA-approved safety boots.
Mileage: For travel outside 55-kilometre radius, but within 80-kilometre radius: $1.25 per kilometre.

Employer will reimburse 50% of prescription safety glasses, maximum $300, provided employee has worked 1,200 hours for employer.
