Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 1, 2016, to Dec. 31, 2019. Signed on April 22, 2016.
Wage adjustments: 
Effective Jan. 1, 2017: 1.5%
Effective Jan. 1, 2018: 1.75%
Effective Jan. 1, 2019: 1.95%
Shift premium: Night premium: $1.04 (previously $1.02) for all hours beyond 6 p.m. Weekend premium: $1.72 (previously $1.69) for all hours between 5 a.m. Saturday and 11 p.m. Sunday.
Paid holidays: 12 days. Additional 1-half day on last working day prior to Christmas. 
Vacations with pay: 1 day per month maximum 8 days to start, 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 2 years, 4 weeks after 10 years, 5 weeks after 15 years, 5 weeks plus 1 day after 19 years, 5 weeks plus 2 days after 20 years, 5 weeks plus 3 days after 21 years, 6 weeks after 22 years.
Overtime: Time and one-half for all hours worked after 7 hours per day or 70 hours bi-weekly. May be banked, maximum 70 hours.
Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums for Employer Health Tax.
Dental: Employer pays 100% of premiums. Orthodontic coverage and major dental work (including but not limited to crowns, implants, dentures, bridgework): 50% co-insurance, lifetime maximum $3,000 per insured.
Vision: $525 every 24 months (previously $500 every 24 months). Effective Jan 1, 2017: $550 every 24 months. Effective Jan 1, 2018: $575 every 24 months. Employer will pay for cost of laser surgery for insured individual, maximum $500 per eye.
Paramedical: $800 per year for physiotherapist, clinical psychologist, chiropractor, osteopath, chiropodist, podiatrist, naturopath/homeopath, speech pathologist, masseur, dietician. Dependants: $600 per person for physiotherapist, clinical psychologist, speech pathologist, masseur.
LTD: 75% of monthly income, maximum $8,000. 
Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums for group life insurance at 2 times employee’s salary.
Pension: O.M.E.R.S. Type 1 pension. Cost shared equally between employer, employee.
Bereavement leave: 8 days for death of spouse, same sex partner, father, mother, children, stepfather, stepmother, stepchildren. 4 days for death of sister, brother, mother-in-law, father-in-law, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandparents-in-law, grandchildren. 1 day for death of aunts-in-law, uncles-in-law, niece-in-law, nephew-in-law.
Seniority – recall rights: 24 months. 
Call-in pay: Minimum 2 hours’ pay.
Probationary period: 6 months. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 24 months.
Safety shoes: $400 every 2 years (previously $300 every 2 years) for CSA-approved footwear.
Uniforms/clothing: Employees of daycare centres will receive 1 laboratory-type coat.
