Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 1, 2018, to Dec. 31, 2020. Signed on June 12, 2018. 
Shift premium: $0.70 per hour (previously $0.65 per hour) when majority of hours worked are between 3 p.m. and 8 a.m. following day. Effective Jan. 1, 2019: $0.75 per hour. $0.65 per hour (previously $0.60 per hour) for hours worked between 10 p.m. Friday and 10 p.m. Sunday. Effective Jan. 1, 2019: $0.70 per hour. 
Paid holidays: 12 days. 
Vacations with pay: 1 week or 4% after 6 months, 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 2 years, 4 weeks after 7 years, 5 weeks after 13 years. Employees will receive 1 extra day per year — after 20 years of service — until vacation total reaches 6 weeks. 7 weeks after 31 years. 
Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after normal scheduled shift, on employee’s scheduled day off or in excess of 80 hours during any 2-week pay period. May be banked, maximum 24 hours and must be used within year earned. 
Medical benefits: Employer will pay 100% of premiums for Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP).
Dental: Employer will pay 90% of premiums, employee pays 10% of premiums. $2,000 (previously $1,750) lifetime maximum for orthodontic coverage for dependants younger than 17.
Vision: Employer will pay 100% of premiums for coverage of $400 (previously $350) every 24 months. 1 eye examination every 24 months for $100 (previously $80). Effective Jan. 2, 2020: $450 every 24 months.
Paramedical: $40 (previously $30) for massage, physiotherapy, chiropractic. Effective Jan. 1, 2019: $45; $450 for orthotics.
Sick leave: 1 and one-half days for each month of service, plus 3 personal days per year. 3 days will be credited after 3 months of service, when credited days begin. 
LTD: Employer will pay 100% of premiums for coverage of 66 2/3% of monthly earnings, maximum $4,000.
Life insurance: Employer will pay 100% of premiums for coverage of 1 and one-half times annual salary. 
Pension: Employer will pay 50% of contributions required for OMERS. 
Bereavement leave: 5 days for death in immediate family (parents, stepparents, brother, sister, spouse, common-law spouse, child, step-child). 3 days for death of mother-in-law, father-in-law, grandparents, grandparents-in-law, grandchild, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, daughter-in-law, son-in-law. 1 day for death of aunt, uncle, niece, nephew, stepbrother, stepsister, stepgrandparent, stepgrandchild.
Seniority – recall rights: 18 months. 
Call-in pay: Time and one-half for all hours worked, minimum 3 hours for each call-in.
Probationary period: 60 days of service for full-time; 340 hours or 6-month period, whichever comes first for part-time. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 15 months; 24 months for discipline is imposed for resident abuse.
Safety shoes: $50 for full-time employees, $25 for part-time employees. $100 per year when employer requires employee to wear safety shoes.
Uniforms/clothing: Employer will supply 5 standard uniforms for full-time employees, 3 standard uniforms for part-time employees for those who are required to wear uniforms and who wish to wear supplied items.
