Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 1, 2016, to Dec. 31, 2018. Signed on Jan. 1, 2016.
Wage adjustments: 
Effective 2016: 1.5%
Effective 2017: 1.5%
Effective 2018: 1.5%
Shift premium: $0.60 per hour when majority of hours fall between 4 p.m. and 5 a.m. $0.65 per hour (previously $0.30 per hour) for all hours worked between Friday 11 p.m. and Sunday 11 p.m.
Paid holidays: 12 days. 
Vacations with pay: 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 2 years, 4 weeks after 6 years, 5 weeks after 14 years, 6 weeks after 20 years. Maximum 5 days per year may be carried over. 
Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 80 hours per week. 
Medical benefits: Employer will pay 100% of premiums. 
Dental: Employer will pay 80% of premiums. Orthodontics (for dependent children younger than 21), crowns, caps and denture fabrication: maximum once per lifetime coverage of $600 per family. Basic and preventative services: 100% coverage. Orthodontics: 50% coverage. Basic unlimited, orthodontics: $1,000 lifetime maximum.
Vision: $350 every 12 months for persons younger than 18, $350 every 24 months for persons older than 18.
Paramedical: Chiropractor: $20 per visit, maximum $350 per year. Osteopath: $15 per visit, maximum $350 per year. Podiatrist/chiropodist: $15 per visit, maximum $350 per year. Naturopath: $15 per visit, maximum $350 per year. Speech therapy: $15 per visit, maximum $350 per year. Psychologist/psychiatrist: $30 per visit, maximum $350 per year. Physiotherapist: $400 per year. Massage: $20 per visit, maximum $350 per year.
Sick leave: 8 days per year.
LTD: Employer will pay 100% of premiums. After 119 days, employee receives 75% of monthly earnings, maximum $6,000 per month.
AD&D: Coverage of 1.5 times annual earnings, maximum $200,000.
Life insurance: Coverage of 1.5 times annual earnings, maximum $200,000.
Pension: As condition of employment, each full-time employee becomes a member of Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System.
Bereavement leave: 5 days for death of spouse, common-law spouse, same-sex spouse, partner, child, stepchild, parent, stepparent. 3 days for death of brother, sister, mother-in-law, father-in-law, grandparents, grandchild, daughter-in-law, son-in-law. 1 day to attend funeral of sister-in-law, brother-in-law, aunt, uncle, grandparents-in-law, niece, nephew.
Seniority – recall rights: 30 months. 
Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours’ pay at time and one-half.
Probationary period: 576 hours. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 14 months.
Safety shoes: $100 for maintenance employees.
Uniforms/clothing: Employer will provide a uniform or uniform allowance of $200 per year.
Mileage: $0.52 per kilometre.

Housekeeping aide lead hand: $25.30 rising 2 steps to $26.07
Housekeeping/laundry aide: $23.10 rising 2 steps to $23.80
Maintenance worker: $24.82 rising 2 steps to $25.57
Maintenance worker lead hand: $26.39 rising 2 steps to $27.19
Personal support worker: $25.30 rising 2 steps to $26.07
Registered practical nurse: $29.35 rising 2 steps to $30.24

Editor’s notes: Responsibility pay: When employee is assigned to work in supervisory position for one shift or greater, she will be paid lead-hand premium of 10% in addition to regular rate, retroactive to the original time of assignment. Education fund: Employer will contribute $3,000 per year for upgrading employee’s skills in all aspects of trade union functions. National Day of Mourning: Each year on April 28 at 11 a.m., 1 minute of silence will be observed in memory of workers killed or injured on job. Hearing aids: $700 every 60 months.
