Vacations with pay: Additional 6% of employee’s salary in lieu of time off with pay.

Bereavement leave: 2 classes per term due to illness or death in the family of a part-time academic or teaching assistant. 2 days for clinical instructors.

Seniority – recall rights: 3 years.

Probationary period: A part-time academic is considered on probation until she has taught part-time academic work assignments equivalent to 9 credit hours extending over at least 2 academic years. Probation for all other employees is 50 hours worked.

Discipline: Sunset clause is 2 years.

Nursing instructor: $33.40 per hour

Teaching assistant TA65: $1,495
Teaching assistant TA90: $2,070

Teaching assistant TA260: $5,980
Markers and demonstrators: $15.65 per hour
