Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 1, 2016, to Dec. 31, 2019. Signed on Nov. 28, 2016.
Wage adjustments: 
Effective Jan. 1, 2016: 1.5%
Effective Jan. 1, 2017: 1.5%
Effective Jan. 1, 2018: 2%
Effective Jan. 1, 2019: 2%
Shift premium: $1 per hour for all hours worked between 5 p.m. and 8 a.m. $100 per month for first-aid level 2 attendants. 
Paid holidays: 12 days. 
Vacations with pay: 1 day per month, maximum 10 days to start, 3 weeks after 2 years, 4 weeks after 6 years, 4.4 weeks after 11 years, 5 weeks after 14 years, 6 weeks after 19 years, 7 weeks after 25 years. Casual, temporary, seasonal employees: 4% pay for up to 1,960 hours worked, 6% thereafter. 
Overtime: Time and one-half for first 2 hours worked after regular hours, double time thereafter. May be banked with no limits, maximum 10 banked days off per year. Maximum 7 banked days may be carried over per year.
Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums for Medical Services Plan of B.C.
Dental: Employer pays 100% of premiums. 100% for basic, 80% for major restorative services, 50% for orthodontic services, lifetime maximum $4,000 per person.
Vision: $450 (previously $400) every 24 months. Effective Jan. 1, 2018, increase in coverage to include corrective vision procedures such as laser eye surgery to $600 in any 24-month period.
Paramedical: $1,500 annual maximum (chiropractor, massage, physiotherapist). $300 per year for naturopath, $200 per year for acupuncture, $200 per year for podiatrist, $100 per year for speech therapist.
Weekly indemnity: Employee pays 100% of premiums. 
Sick leave: 12 days per year, maximum 150 days accumulated.
AD&D: Employer pays 100% of premiums. Coverage is 2 times annual salary, minimum $60,000.
Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums. Coverage is 2 times annual salary, minimum $60,000.
Pension: Employees will participate in municipal pension plan.
Bereavement leave: 5 days (4 days for 4-day per week employees) for death in immediate family (parent, stepparent, spouse, common-law spouse, same-sex partner, fiancée, brother, sister, child, stepchild, mother-in-law, father-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandparents, grandchildren). Additional 7 days if travel of more than 200 kilometres for funeral is required. 1 day to act as a pallbearer, 1 half-day to act as a mourner. 
Seniority – recall rights: For employees with less than 1 year's experience: 6 months. For employees with more than 1 year's experience: 6 months. 
Probationary period: 520 hours for workers on 8-hour shifts, or 455 hours for workers on 7-hour shifts. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 24 months.
Safety shoes: $185 per year (previously $175 per year) for footwear, may be increased to $370 per year when needed. Employer will supply 1 pair of rubber boots every 2 years for utility work areas. 
Uniforms/clothing: Employer will supply: 4 gloves per year, rain gear, appropriate safety wear. $100 per year reimbursement for aquatic clothing.

Editor’s notes: Dirty pay: $2 per hour ($1.75 per hour previously) will be paid to sewage treatment plant workers and sewer and water division workers, when they are actively engaged in the scraping of sludge from the treatment plant cell walls, sewer backups or other extreme conditions. Minimum 4 hours’ pay. Herbicide, pesticide and fertilizer application: Employees who must possess a ministry of environment pesticide applicator’s certificate will be paid an additional $1 per hour, minimum 4 hours’ pay. Retirement pay: Employee who retires will receive a retirement sum of 2 days’ pay for each year of service.
