Shift premium: Supervisor designation: $1 for foreman who achieve Alberta standard. Effective May 7, 2017: $1.50.
Paid holidays: 11 days
Vacations with pay: 6% to start, 7% after 3 years, 8% after 7 years, 9% after 10 years, 10% after 12 years.
Overtime: Short-term maintenance: Time and one-half after 8 hours. Double time after 2 overtime hours, double time on Saturday, Sunday, statutory holidays. Long-term maintenance: Time and one-half after 8 hours. Double time after 4 overtime hours, double time on Saturday, Sunday, statutory holidays. Four ten-hour day: Time and one half after 10 hours, double time. Double time if working Monday to Thursday, Tuesday to Friday after 10 hours.
Meal allowance: $40 if working 3 12-hour shift option.
Bereavement leave: 3 days for death in immediate family (spouse, child, parent, parent-in-law, grandparent, sibling) if worked more than 3 years.
Call-in pay: Minimum 2.5 hours, double time. Overtime hours after 2.5 hours.
Safety shoes: $150 reimbursement for work in abnormal wear areas.
Uniforms/clothing: 2 pairs of coveralls per 12 months.
