Renewal agreement: Effective Sept. 1, 2016, to Aug. 31, 2020. Signed on Aug. 10, 2017.
Paid holidays: 10 days. 
Vacations with pay: 2 weeks or 4% after 1 year, 3 weeks or 6% after 3 years, 4 weeks or 8% after 9 years, 5 weeks or 10% after 15 years. 
Medical benefits: Employer pays 75% of premiums, employee pays 25% of premiums. 
Dental: Employer pays 75% of premiums, employee pays 25% of premiums. 
STD: Employer pays 75% of premiums, employee pays 25% of premiums.
LTD: Employer pays 75% of premiums, employee pays 25% of premiums. 
Life insurance: Employer pays 75% of premiums, employee pays 25% of premiums. 
Bereavement leave: 3 days for death in immediate family (spouse, mother, father, sons, daughters, stepdaughters, stepsons, sisters, brothers, mother-in-law, father-in-law). 1 additional day if funeral is out of province. 
Seniority – recall rights: 6 months. 
Sample rates of pay (current, after increase):
0 to 6 months of employment
Mileage rate: $0.36 per mile rising 1 step to $0.365 per mile
Work time: $13.50 per hour
Wait time: $13.50 per hour
Extra pickups and deliveries: On all loads that require more than 1 pickup or delivery, driver will be paid $22.50 for each additional pick up or delivery.
6 to 24 months of employment
Mileage rate: $0.39 per mile rising 1 step to $0.395 per mile
Work time: $18.75 per hour
Wait time: $18.75 per hour
Extra pickups and deliveries: On all loads that require more than 1 pickup or delivery, driver will be paid $27.50 for each additional pickup or delivery.
24 months of employment
Mileage rate: $0.40 per mile rising 1 step to $0.405 per mile
Work time: $18.75 per hour
Wait time: $18.75 per hour
Extra pick-ups and deliveries: On all loads that require more than 1 pickup or delivery, driver will be paid $27.50 for each additional pickup or delivery.
Editor’s notes: Safety bonus: After 1 month of service, driver will receive bonus of $0.045 per mile — based on miles operated for employer — for preceding 1 month, if employer has realized no preventable equipment damage or insurance claims on behalf of driver and there have been no violations under National Safety Code during 1-month period. Industry fund: Employer will contribute $4 per employee per month to Teamsters Union/Industry Advancement Fund. Signing bonus: Effective ratification, drivers will receive $500. Effective Sept. 1, 2018: $250. Performance bonus: For those drivers that achieve 10,000 miles or more prior to cut-off, employer will pay $125. Effective Sept. 1, 2019: $250.
