Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 1, 2017, to Dec. 31, 2019. Ratified on Nov. 28, 2016. Signed on March 29, 2017. 
Wage adjustments: 
Effective Jan. 1, 2017: 3% 
Effective Jan. 1, 2016: 3%
Effective Jan. 1, 2019: 3%
Shift premium: Weekend: $3.25 per hour (previously $3 per hour) when majority of hours falls in 60-hour period beginning 7 p.m. Friday. Night: $3.25 per hour (previously $3 per hour) when working between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m.
Paid holidays: 11 days, plus 1 floater day. 
Vacations with pay: 6% to start, 8% after 4 years, 10% after 10 years, 12% after 20 years. 
Overtime: Double time for all hours worked. May be banked, maximum 48 hours. 
Medical benefits:
Employer pays 75% of premiums, employee pays 25% for Alberta Municipal Employee Benefits Plan. Flexible health-benefits spending account: Effective Jan. 1, 2017: $1,100. Effective Jan. 1, 2018: $1,200. Effective Jan. 1, 2019: $1,300.
Dental: 100% for basic, diagnostic. 50% for major restorative, orthodontics (children only). Maximum $1,500 per year; $1,500 lifetime for orthodontics.
Sick leave: 12 hours per month, maximum 192 hours.
STD: 66 2/3% earnings, maximum 17 weeks. 
LTD: 66 2/3% earnings, following 120-day elimination period. 
AD&D: Coverage 2 times annual salary.
Life insurance: Coverage 2 times annual salary, maximum $250,000.
Pension: Group RRSP plan: Employer matches contributions, maximum 8%, minimum 3%.
Bereavement leave: 7 days for death in family (spouse, parent, child, brother, sister, fiancée, stepparent, stepchildren, stepbrother, stepsister mother-in-law, father-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, legal guardian, grandparent, grandchild). 2 additional days for travel more than 385 kilometres.
Seniority – recall rights: 1 year. 
Probationary period: 1,092 hours. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 1 year.
Severance: 2 weeks’ pay per year, maximum 40 weeks.
Safety shoes: $100 per year.
Uniforms/clothing: For full-time, part-time employees, employer will provide: 4 shirts with flashes, 4 T-shirts, 4 trousers, 1 uniform belt, 1 name tag, 1 sweater, 1 fleece jacket, if available. For casual employees, employer will provide: 2 shirts, 2 T-shirts, 2 trousers, 1 uniform belt, 1 fleece jacket, if available.
Mileage: $0.52 per kilometre.

Communications specialist: $24.01 rising 3 steps to $26.23
Superintendent: $36.48 rising 3 steps to $39.86
Editor’s notes: On-call duty: $3.30 per hour. Long-service recognition: 10-year anniversary date: $500. 15-year anniversary date: $750. 20-year anniversary date: $1,000. 25-year anniversary date: $1,250.
