Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 9, 2017, to Jan. 8, 2020. Ratified on April 7, 2017. Signed on Sept. 28, 2017.
Wage adjustments: 
Effective Jan. 9, 2017: 3%
Effective Jan. 9, 2018: 3%
Effective Jan. 9, 2019: 3%
Shift premium: $1 per hour for work on afternoon shift. $1.10 per hour for work on night shift. 
Paid holidays: 11 days, plus Easter Monday as floating holiday. 
Vacations with pay: 3/52 of earnings plus 1 day per month, maximum 11 days to start, 3/52 of earnings plus 3 weeks after 1 year, 4/52 of earnings plus 4 weeks after 10 years, 5/52 of earnings plus 5 weeks after 20 years, 6/52 of earnings plus 6 weeks after 28 years. 
Overtime: Time and three-quarters for work after regular hours. Double time for work on Sunday. 
Meal allowance: $12 when working more than 2 hours after regular shift or called in to work for more than 4 hours. 
Dental: Maximum $1,200 per year. 100% reimbursement for routine services, 50% for dentures, orthodontic. 
Vision: $225 per family member every 2 years. $75 every 2 years for eye examinations. 
Paramedical: Maximum combined $1,000 per year for registered masseur, chiropractor, osteopath, physical therapist.
Weekly indemnity: Employer pays premiums for coverage of 66 2/3% of salary plus $40. 
LTD: After 5 years of service, maximum benefit of $1,750 per month. 
AD&D: Coverage of $50,000.
Life insurance: 1-times the employee’s annual salary.
Pension: RRSP plan administered by Sun Life. 
Bereavement leave: 3 days for death of father, mother, stepfather, stepmother, legal guardian, spouse, common-law spouse, child, stepchild, grandfather, grandmother, grandchild, brother or sister of employee, or father, mother, grandfather, grandmother, grandchild, brother, sister of employee’s spouse.
Seniority – recall rights: 12 months. 
Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours’ pay.
Probationary period: 60 days worked. 
Discipline: Minor rule/policy violations: Retained for rolling 1-year period. Major rules/policy violations: Retained for rolling 2-year period. Safety rules violation: Retained for rolling 3-year period.
Severance: 1 week’s pay per year of service.
Safety shoes: $160 per year (previously $150 per year).
Uniforms/clothing: Employer will provide Ski-Doo suits, insulated coveralls plus leather mitts together with woolen liners for switching crew and inspectors, employees tasked to pad. Employer will provide parka and 1 set of leather mitts together with woolen liners for engineer in charge of steam rack. Employer will provide winter boots annually to employees work in switching crew and steam rack.
