Renewal agreement: Effective June 14, 2017, to June 21, 2018. Signed on June 14, 2017.
Shift premium: $2 per hour for all hours worked, including overtime hours, between 4 p.m. and 8 a.m. $2 per hour for all hours worked, including overtime hours, on Saturday or Sunday. Aerological observers will receive double time for all hours worked in excess of 7.5 hours per day. $3.50 per day when packaging and labelling dangerous goods for shipping, maximum $75 per month.
Paid holidays: 11 days. 
Vacations with pay: 9.375 hours per month to start, 12.5 hours per month after 8 years, 13.75 hours per month after 16 years, 14.4 hours per month after 17 years, 15.63 hours per month after 18 years, 16.88 hours per month after 27 years, 18.75 hours after 28 years. Time may be carried over, maximum 262.5 hours.
Overtime: Time and one-half for hours worked after regular shifts. Double time for each hour of overtime worked after 15 hours’ work in any 24-hour period or after 7.5 hours’ work on employee’s first day of rest and for all hours worked on second or subsequent day of rest. 
Meal allowance: $10 — except where free meals are provided — after more than 3 hours of overtime. $10 for each subsequent 3-hour period of overtime.
Sick leave: 9.38 hours per month. Additional 1.25 hours per month for shift workers.
Bereavement leave: 7 days for death in immediate family (father, mother, stepfather, stepmother, foster-parent, brother, stepbrother, sister, stepsister, spouse, common-law partner, child, child of common-law partner, stepchild, foster-child, ward of employee, father-in-law, mother-in-law, grandchild, grandparent, relative residing in employee’s household). 3 additional days for travel. 1 day for death of brother-in-law, sister-in-law, grandparents of spouse.
Call-in pay: 3 hours’ pay at overtime rate, maximum 8 hours’ compensation in 8-hour period.
Discipline: Sunset clause is 2 years.
Severance: On first layoff, 2 weeks’ pay; 3 weeks’ pay for employees with 10 or more and less than 20 years of employment; 4 weeks’ pay for employees with 20 or more years of employment, plus 1 week’s pay for each additional year of employment. On second or subsequent layoff, 1 week’s pay for each year of employment.

Editor’s notes: Standby: One-half hour paid for each 4-hour period or part thereof when employee is on standby duty. Marine disaster: $3,000 when employee suffers loss of clothing or personal effects of marine disaster or shipwreck. Correctional service specific duty allowance: $2,000 per year for those who perform duties specific to Correctional Service of Canada (custody of inmates, regular supervision of offenders, or support of programs related to conditional release of offenders) within penitentiaries.
