Renewal agreement: Effective April 1, 2016, to March 31, 2020. Signed on May 30, 2016.
Paid holidays: 13 days. 
Vacations with pay: 15 days to start, 20 days after 2 years, 25 days after 10 years, 30 days after 15 years.
Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after regular hours. Double time after 4 hours. 
Meal allowance: After 3 hours of overtime, employer will provide meal or meal allowance.
Medical benefits: Northern Employee Benefits Services group benefit plan.
Sick leave: 1.25 days per month, maximum 25 days. 
AD&D: Coverage of 3-times annual salary.
Life insurance: Coverage of 3-times annual salary.
Pension: Northern Employee Benefits Services pension plan.
Bereavement leave: 5 days for death in immediate family (father, mother, brother, sister, spouse, common-law spouse, child, adoptive child, stepchild, foster-child, father-in-law, mother-in-law, grandchildren, grandparents, relative residing in employee’s household).
Seniority - recall rights: 12 months. 
Call-in pay: The greater of compensation at overtime rate or compensation equivalent to 4 hours’ pay at straight-time rate. Compensation will be made in cash or compensatory leave, as desired by employee.
Probationary period: 6 months. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 2 years.
Severance: 2 weeks’ pay for first year of service and 1 week for each year thereafter.
Safety shoes: $275 per year.
Uniforms/clothing: Employer will provide: rubber gloves for water, sewer and garbage employees and swampers; work gloves for mechanics, operators, foreman, public works employees, apprentices and recreation maintainers; winter coveralls (suitable for arctic operating conditions) for swampers, drivers, mechanics, operators, foreman, public works employees, recreation maintainers and apprentices; summer coveralls for water, sewer, and garbage employees, mechanics, public works employees, recreation maintainers and bylaw officers; safety glasses and goggles for public works employees and mechanics; uniform clothing issue to bylaw workers on initial hire consisting of 3 shirts, 2 neckties, insignia, summer and winter jacket.
Tool allowance: Employer will replace worn out or broken tools used and owned by journeymen and apprentices.
Mileage: $0.58 per kilometre.

Editor’s notes: Vacation travel assistance: All employees travelling on vacation leave are entitled to transportation assistance once per year. Employees who request vacation assistance will receive: $2,500 for employee (previously $1,270 per year), $2,500 for employee’s spouse (previously $970 per year), $2,500 for employee’s dependant (previously $365 per year), maximum $10,000 per year. Marriage: Employer will grant special leave earned with pay for 2 days when employee is to be married. Hunting, fishing or harvesting: Maximum 3 days per year leave without pay to employee for traditional hunting, fishing or harvesting pursuits. Standby: $14 for each 8-hour period or portion thereof on standby. Travel: Where employees make private arrangements for overnight accommodation, $50 for each night outside Nunavut, and $75 for each night within Nunavut. Per diem rate of $151.40 (previously $137.40) will be paid. If employee is in travel for part of day only: $24.40 for breakfast (previously $20.90); $35.15 for lunch (previously $29.55); $74.55 for dinner (previously $69.65); $ 17.30 for incidentals.
