Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 1, 2019, to Dec. 31, 2020. Ratified on Feb. 13, 2019. Signed on April 18, 2018.
Paid holidays: 12 days.
Vacations with pay: 2 weeks or 4% after 1 year, 3 weeks or 6% after 2 years, 4 weeks or 7.7% after 8 years, 5 weeks or 9.6% after 20 years, 6 weeks or 11.5% after 25 years. Additional 3 days per year (maximum) if majority of Heritage Park operations are closed between Christmas and New Years’ day.
Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 8, 10 or 12 hours per day or 40 hours per week. May be taken as time off in lieu.
Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
Dental: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
LTD: Employee pays 100% of premiums.
AD&D: Employee pays 100% of premiums.
Life insurance: Employee pays 100% of premiums.
Pension: Employer will match employee contributions, maximum 5%, to group pension plan. Employee may contribute additional 8% to plan.
Bereavement leave: 4 days for death of spouse, common-law spouse, child, parent, spouse’s parent, brother, sister, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandfather, grandmother, grandchild.
Seniority – recall rights: 90 days.
Probationary period: 6 months.
Severance: 1 week’s pay after 3 months of service; 2 weeks’ pay after 2 years of service; 4 weeks’ pay after 4 years of service; 5 weeks’ pay after 6 years of service; 6 weeks’ pay after 8 years of service; 8 weeks’ pay after 10 years of service.

0 to 6 months: $15.35 rising 1 step to $15.50
6 months: $15.93 rising 1 step to $16.09
12 months: $16.21 rising 1 step to $16.37
24 months job rate: $16.78 rising 1 step to $16.95
Security coordinator
0 to 12 months: $19.09 rising 1 step to $19.28
12 months job rate: $22.27 rising 1 step to $22.49
Temporary security guard job rate: $15.35 rising 1 step to $15.50
Casual casual/security guard job rate: $15.35 rising 1 step to $15.50
Seasonal security guard job rate: $15.35 rising 1 step to $15.50
Editor’s notes: Licence renewal: $150 (additional $25 if vulnerable sector verification is required) for employees who are required to undergo vulnerable sector verification.
