Renewal agreement: Effective April 1, 2016, to March 31, 2019. Ratified on July 7, 2016. Signed on May 6, 2016.
Wage adjustments: 
Effective April 1, 2017: $0.65 per hour
Effective April 1, 2017: $0.65 per hour
Shift premium: $0.20 per hour for work between 4 p.m. and midnight. $0.30 per hour for work between midnight and 4 a.m. Lead hand: $1 per hour.
Paid holidays: 11 days. 
Vacations with pay: 1 day per month (maximum 10 days) or 4% to start, 15 days or 6% after 3 years, 20 days or 8% after 10 years, 25 days or 8% after 15 years, 25 days or 10% after 25 years, 
Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 8 hours per day, or 40 hours per week. Time and one-half for all work on Saturday. Double time for all work after 48 hours per week, for all work on second day of rest, for all work on a Sunday or a holiday. Two hours’ pay when weekend overtime is cancelled with 24 hours’ notice. 
Meal allowance: Meal provided by employer when worker does more than 2 hours of overtime, repeated every 4 hours thereafter.
Medical benefits: 100% premiums paid by employer. Company contributes $4.35 per hour to the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 793 Members Life and Health Benefit Trust of Ontario. Effective April 1, 2017: $4.40 per hour. Effective April 1, 2018: $4.45 per hour.
Pension: Company contributes $4.40 per hour to the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 793 Members Pension Benefit Trust of Ontario. Effective April 1, 2017: $4.50 per hour. Effective April 1, 2018: $4.60 per hour.
Seniority – recall rights: 12 months. 
Call-in pay: Minimum 2 hours’ pay at double-time.
Probationary period: 180 days. 
Safety shoes: $160 per year.

Mechanic: $26.98 rising 1 step to $28.28
Mechanic 2: $26.01 rising 1 step to $27.31
Mechanic trainee yr. 2: $23.56 rising 1 step to $24.86
Mechanic trainee yr. 1: $21.22 rising 1 step to $22.52
C/F counterman/floorman 1: $26.14 rising 1 step to $27.44
C/F trainee yr. 3: $23.15 rising 1 step to $24.45
D/F driver floorman 1: $26.14 rising 1 step to $27.44
D/F trainee yr. 3: $23.15 rising 1 step to $24.45
Utility 1 yr. 2: $22.65 rising 1 step to $23.95
Utility 2 yr. 1: $20.59 $21.24 $21.89
Editor’s notes: Audits: $25,000 penalty may be assessed if auditors find a deliberate violation of the collective agreement in the trusteeship of a company-sponsored fund or plan. Examinations: Company will reimburse employees for the cost of driving test or eye exam as required by the transportation ministry.
